Events cooking is its own discipline. Hundreds of plates, one service window, and no room for a weak one. We are building our events kitchen team and want chefs who thrive at that scale.

Founded in 2019, LK Hospitality delivers innovative, world-class dining and events in South Yarra. Our venues include Omnia Bistro, Yugen Dining, Portside, and The Grand Room - all within the prestigious Capitol Grand. We are a group built on genuine hospitality, high standards, and a team culture that takes the craft seriously.

The Role

You own your section on event day, from first prep to the last plate out.

- Prep and execute event menus to spec, on time, every time
- Deliver plated, canapé and banquet service at volume
- Hold plating consistency from the first plate to the last
- Keep your section clean, organised and food-protected
- Back the team across stations when the pressure peaks

Casual role.



Shifts are rostered around the events calendar, including evenings and weekends.

Who We’re Looking For

You are the chef who stays calm when the pass is full. You take pride in the hundredth plate as much as the first.

- Commercial kitchen experience at chef de partie level or above
- Banquet, function or high-volume service experience
- Fast and accurate under hard time pressure
- Available evenings and weekends around events
- Strong food safety habits you apply without reminders

And the non-negotiables - you show up ready, you hold the standard when no one is checking, and you make the brigade around you stronger by how you work.
