About the Role
An opportunity is available for an experienced Speech Pathology leader to manage an established service within a regional public health setting. This permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to shape clinical practice, support workforce development and influence the delivery of Speech Pathology services across the healthcare continuum.

You will oversee service planning, clinical governance, quality improvement and workforce management, while providing professional leadership, mentoring and supervision to the clinical team. Working closely with senior health leaders and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will help ensure services are responsive to patient needs and continue to develop in line with organisational priorities.

The role offers a broad scope of practice across acute, subacute and outpatient services, providing an opportunity to influence both clinical outcomes and the future direction of the service.

What You'll Need

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Eligibility for Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Extensive clinical experience in evidence-based Speech Pathology practice across acute, subacute and outpatient settings
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including experience in mentoring, coaching and supervising clinicians
- Experience in service planning, evaluation, quality improvement and clinical governance
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams
- A sound understanding of contemporary clinical practice, patient flow and safe, person-centred care
- A current Australian driver's licence

Postgraduate qualifications in Speech Pathology or a relevant management field would be advantageous.
