We're partnering with a highly regarded, established national retailer to find a passionate and commercially driven Assistant Store Manager for their Melrose Park location.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail 2IC or ambitious Supervisor who thrives in a customer-focused environment, loves achieving results and genuinely enjoys helping others succeed.
We're not looking for someone who simply keeps the store running. We want a leader who brings energy to the shop floor, takes ownership of their results and knows how to inspire a team!
The Opportunity Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll play an important role in driving sales, supporting daily operations and creating a positive, high-performing team culture.
You'll be part of a business where customer relationships, product knowledge and genuine service make all the difference.

What You'll Be Doing

- Leading from the front and driving a strong sales culture.
- Supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
- Coaching, motivating and developing team members.
- Delivering outstanding customer experiences through personalised, consultative service.
- Monitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- Maintaining high standards across merchandising, presentation and store operations.




- Taking ownership and confidently leading the team in the Store Manager's absence.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, 2IC or strong retail Supervisor.
- A genuine passion for sales and achieving targets.
- Confidence in coaching and inspiring a team to deliver results.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of retail KPIs.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to get involved.

Experience in consultative sales, home improvement, lifestyle, homewares or specialty retail would be highly regarded, but we're open to strong retail talent from other industries.
