The team behind Norma’s Deli is bringing an exciting new concept to Manly this November, and we’re looking for energetic, passionate and dedicated people to join us for the opening and become part of our ongoing team.

The Role

We’re looking for an energetic All Rounder to join the Romeo’s team. This is a hands-on, varied role that covers both front-of-house service and the kitchen. One minute you’ll be welcoming customers and packing takeaway orders, and the next you’ll be on the fryer or helping with prep. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, take pride in doing the simple things well, and believe great food and excellent service go hand in hand, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll be Doing

- Greeting customers with friendly, efficient service, taking orders and processing payments
- Assembling, checking and packing takeaway orders so every order goes out accurate and well presented
- Keeping on top of menu changes, promotions and specials, and sharing them with customers
- Helping with food prep,



cooking allocated menu items and operating the fryer safely
- Following recipes, portion control and cooking times to keep quality consistent
- Supporting the kitchen during busy service and keeping orders flowing
- Keeping the service area, kitchen and equipment clean, organised and hygienic
- Following food safety procedures for storage, handling, labelling and stock rotation
- Restocking ingredients, packaging and supplies, and helping with opening and closing duties
- Jumping in wherever you’re needed and working closely with the wider team

What we’re looking for

- 2 years’ experience in a similar customer-facing role
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or hospitality environment
- Good knowledge of WHS, food hygiene and efficient kitchen processes
- A friendly, positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to take on different tasks and support your teammates
- Openness to feedback and keenness to learn
- Reliability, punctuality and good communication skills
