Confined Space Spotter - 1 Week Project - Girraween Location
Short-Term Project | Confined Space Level 2 Essential | Immediate Opportunity
Haymond Personnel is currently seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Confined Space Spotter for a one-week project assignment based in Girraween, Sydney.
We are looking for a safety-conscious, reliable individual who holds Confined Space Level 2 qualifications, including all the essential units of competency listed below.
About the Role
- Act as a Confined Space Spotter during project works
- Monitor personnel entering and exiting confined spaces
- Ensure confined space entry procedures and permits are followed
- Conduct atmospheric gas testing and monitor site conditions as required
- Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate safety controls are maintained
- Maintain transparent communication with workers and site personnel
- Follow all WHS procedures and emergency response requirements
Essential Qualifications - Confined Space Level 2 - MUST BE AVAILABLE FROM 26TH OCTOBER FOR 7 NIGHTS Applicants MUST hold evidence of completion of ALL nine units of competency:
1. RIIWHS202E - Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
2. MSMPER200 - Work in Accordance with an Issued Permit
3. MSMPER202 - Observe Permit Work
4. MSMPER205 - Enter Confined Space
5.
MSMWHS217 - Gas Test Atmospheres
6. MSMWHS201 - Conduct Hazard Analysis
7. RIIRIS201E - Conduct Risk Analysis
8. MSMPER300 - Issue Work Permit
9. PUASAR025 - Undertake Confined Space Rescue
Please note: Applicants must provide their Statement of Attainment or relevant training records confirming completion of all nine units. Applications without the required competencies will not be considered.
About You
- Previous experience as a Confined Space Spotter or Standby Person
- Strong understanding of confined space entry procedures and safety requirements
- Confident with permit-to-work systems and gas testing procedures
- Excellent communication skills and attention to safety
- Reliable, punctual and available for the full project duration
- Ability to work effectively within a site-based team
