Essential criteria

1. Technical Expertise Proficient in Java/J2EE/JEE, Vue.JS, Prime Faces, Java Script, SOAP, XML, EJB 3, JPA, RESTful APIs. Skilled in using tools like IntelliJ, Maven, and Azure Dev Ops. Experience with relational databases and SQL.
2. Application Development Full-stack development including front-end and back-end. Design, implementation, and reverse engineering of Java-based applications. Development of authenticated and unauthenticated user flows (e.g., such as MyGov, VANguard FAS).
3. Development Methodologies Strong grasp of SDLC and Agile practices. CI/CD pipeline experience. Writing JUnit test cases and technical documentation.

Analytical & Collaborative Skills Ability to analyse user requirements/stories and deliver minimal-defect solutions. Team-oriented co-design and delivery with business stakeholders. Effective communication, initiative, and adaptability in dynamic environments.

Desirable criteria

1. Relevant Java certifications or qualifications.
2. Familiarity with UX/UI standards and practices.
