About the role

We're seeking an experienced Truss Jig Setter and Cutter to work on a Full time basis in our fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role involves setting up jigs, cutting timber components, and ensuring precise assembly of roof trusses. As a Full time position, you'll enjoy flexible schedule Monday to Friday 6.00pm to 2.00pm, with potential for overtime, starting at 38 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and adjust jigs according to blueprints, specifications, and production schedules.

- Operate saws, nail guns, and other power tools to cut timber accurately and efficiently.

- Assemble truss components, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety protocols.

- Inspect materials for defects and maintain a clean, organized work area.

- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.

- Adhere to all workplace health and safety (WHS) guidelines, including PPE usage.

Requirements





- Proven experience as a Truss Jig Setter, Cutter, or similar role in frame and truss manufacturing (minimum 3-5 years preferred).

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery (e.g., radial arm saws, jig systems).

- Strong attention to detail, physical fitness, and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 25kg).

- Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude.

- Forklift license experience is a bonus but not essential (training provided if needed).

- Own transport preferred due to early start 6.00am and location in St Mary, NSW, The trail station 15 mins walking.

- Must have rights to work in Australia; white card (construction induction) advantageous.
