McLennan St Dental is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team in Mooroopna, Victoria. As a valued member of our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments, mixing materials, and maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments according to infection control protocols
- Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary materials and supplies are ready for each patient
- Providing patients with post-treatment instructions and answering any questions they may have
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Undertaking administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling patient enquiries
What we're looking for
- Completion of a recognised Dental Assisting qualification or equivalent experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
