About the role

You'll be a trusted adviser to a portfolio of clients, focused entirely on review and advisory work. At Skybridge Financial, our processing team prepares the work. Your job is to review it, own the client relationship, and give advice that makes a real difference to the businesses and individuals we look after.

Key responsibilities

- Review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs prepared by our processing team

- Sign off on work quality and technical accuracy before it goes to the client

- Meet clients face to face and online to present results, discuss their position and plan ahead

- Provide proactive tax planning and business advice, including structuring, cash flow, growth and succession

- Handle complex technical matters such as Division 7A, CGT, trust distributions and restructures

- Act as the main point of contact for your client base and build long-term relationships

- Coach and give feedback to other staff through the review process





- Identify opportunities to add value for clients beyond compliance

About you

- CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion)

- 5+ years' experience in an Australian public practice tax and business services environment

- Strong technical knowledge across the full range of entity types

- Confident reviewing others' work and giving explicit, constructive feedback

- Excellent communication skills, and you enjoy client contact and explaining complex matters simply

- Commercially minded, with a genuine interest in helping clients succeed

- Experience with Xero, MYOB, Class, APS/Handisoft is highly regarded
