You will be responsible for the professional installation of a wide range of automotive accessories on passenger vehicles, utes, 4WDs and commercial vehicles.
Key responsibilities
The installation & testing of:
- Towbars and towing equipment
- Trailer wiring and vehicle-specific wiring kits
- Electric brake controllers
- 12v Dual battery systems, accessories and electrical components
- Bull bars, nudge bars and protection equipment
- Roof racks and roof platforms
- Side steps and other 4WD accessories
- Canopies, tonneau covers and ute accessories
- Lighting and other vehicle accessories
What We're Looking For
We are specifically looking for someone with previous automotive accessory fitting experience who can become a productive member of the workshop quickly.
- Experience with 12V wiring, soldering/crimping and fault finding
- Experience installing towbars and trailer wiring
- Ability to read installation instructions and wiring diagrams
- Good attention to detail
- Pride in producing neat,
professional workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills
- A current driver's licence
- Own basic hand tools preferred
Experience within the 4WD, towing, auto electrical, mechanical or aftermarket automotive industry will be highly regarded.
