Lindores Personnel are a leading labour hire company specialising in the Building & Construction Industry, providing labour solutions for major builders. We are looking for experienced Crane Operators and Riggers in the Bowen Basin region. All employment opportunities are casual but can lead to permanent placements for the right person.
Key responsibilities
- Rigging operations for crane lifts
- Operating cranes safely and efficiently (for licensed operators)
- Directing crane movements using correct signals and communication
- Securing and moving loads safely on site
- Ensuring all lifts are carried out in accordance with site safety requirements
- Working closely with site supervisors and other trades
About you
- Relevant High Risk Work Licence (RB/RI/RA or CO as applicable)
- Current CBM and Standard 11
- Crane Operators – Minimum 12 months relevant operating experience is essential. Experience operating Open Cranes is highly regarded. Previous mining industry experience is preferred.
- Riggers – Minimum 12 months relevant rigging experience is essential. Previous experience in the mining industry or structural steel is preferred.
- Construction White Card
- Solid understanding of safe lifting practices
- Reliable, punctual, and safety focused
- Reliable transport
- Have a focus on maintaining a safe work environment
- Right to work in Australia
- Availability to start immediately
- Additional licences such as Forklift, Hoist, EWP and TC are advantageous
