Global Technology Business | Data & Analytics
We're partnering with a global technology business looking for a Senior Data Solution Designer to help shape and deliver data solutions across its APAC operations.
Working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Marketing, HR and Commercial teams, you'll translate business requirements into practical data solutions, develop data models and improve the quality, reliability and usability of corporate data.
You'll join an established team of senior data engineering and BI specialists, working across a cloud-based data workplace and modern data platforms.
What you'll be doing

- Translate business requirements into data models, mapping functions and solution designs.
- Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and explain data measures, datasets and reporting outputs.
- Investigate data issues, identify root causes and troubleshoot anomalies.
- Design and implement data quality checks, testing and monitoring processes.
- Facilitate data design workshops and communicate proposed solutions.
- Support data governance and management practices to ensure data is accurate, reliable and fit for purpose.

What we're looking for





- Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience in data analysis and transformation.
- Solid data modelling experience, ideally across Kimball, 3NF or Data Vault methodologies.
- Good understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
- Experience with data quality, testing, pipeline monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

- Experience with AWS data services such as Redshift, Athena or Glue.
- Exposure to CRM or ERP data models.
- Experience in enterprise reporting, statistical analysis or complex business data environments.
