About the role

This position reports directly into the Commercial Manager and is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive sales, market share, and brand awareness within key customer segments including National Retailers, QSRs, Meal Kit Providers and Airlines. Using strong commercial acumen, this position strengthens and expands existing and recent customer relationships and contributes significantly to overall success of the Sales & Marketing KPIs.

Who are looking for:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National or State Sales and/or Business Development Manager to join our expanding Sales team as National Business Manager.

This is a pivotal, high-impact role suited to a proactive self-starter with a passion for sales, relationships, and growth. You’ll be responsible for driving business development across the key customer segments and be a key contributor in achieving our ambitious growth plans.

Key responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong partnerships with National Retailers, QSR accounts, Meal Kit and Airline channels

- Cultivate relationships and identify new business opportunities with existing and new Retail customers, as well as Key Account End Users





- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify commercial opportunities

- Support the achievement of sales budgets and revenue targets

- Develop and execute business development strategy to drive sales growth

- Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics that align with the company's objectives

- Manage the budget for the food service distributors and independent retail division, ensuring cost-effective operations

- Deliver professional product presentations, demonstrations, and sales proposals to customers and stakeholders

- Promote Bakers Maison products and brand capabilities across targeted market segments

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activities, and opportunity pipelines within the CRM system

About you

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and account management within the foodservice or retail industry

- Experience with wholesale or distribution channels from a sales perspective

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

- Exceptional communication skills and presentation abilities

- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

- Current unrestricted driver's licence

- Ability to travel as needed (national travel required)

- Relevant qualifications in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
