The Role

- Manage end-to-end month-end journals and reconciliations for Australian-owned companies.

- Prepare half-yearly and annual statutory accounts to ensure clean external audits.

- Contribute to financial stability through robust budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and monitoring.

- Produce high-quality monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial commentary

- Ensure timely and accurate submission of quarterly Appendix 5B reports for ASX compliance.

- Ensure compliance across all statutory tax obligations, including GST, FBT, and Payroll Tax.

- Maintain seamless payroll operations and timesheet management.





- Led and directed the accounts payable team.

- Streamline project and tenement reporting to provide clear financial visibility.

- Safeguard company compliance by managing Tenement, Contract, and Land Access Registers.

- Prepare technical accounting papers to support corporate compliance.

- Strengthen governance by evaluating and improving internal control procedures.

- Support corporate governance by assisting the Company Secretary with Board and AGM reporting.

- Optimise financial operations by identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements.

Profile

- Suitably qualified Chartered Accountant / CPA

- Previous experience working for one of the Big 4 will be highly regarded

- Sound knowledge of accounting standards, tax and statutory requirements

- The ability to work under pressure and meet required timelines

- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products

- Proactive, confident communicator

- Problem solver and team player

- Full working rights to work in Australia
