About the role

Europa Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team on a casual basis. This position offers the flexibility of casual work whilst providing essential nursing care to our patients across general medical and surgical services. Based in Salisbury, SA 5108, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the clinical operations of our medical centre. Key responsibilities

As a Nurse, you will be responsible for:

- Providing direct patient care including assessment, monitoring and documentation of patient health status

- Assisting with general medical and surgical patient needs

- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed and authorised

- Supporting patients with activities of daily living and personal care

- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation

- Communicating effectively with patients, families and members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team

- Assisting with patient procedures and clinical investigations as required

- Maintaining a safe, clean and infection-controlled environment

- Responding to patient requests and concerns with professionalism and empathy

- Contributing to a cooperative and supportive workplace culture

What we're looking for

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse

- A qualification in general nursing or equivalent recognised nursing qualification

- Experience in general medical and/or surgical nursing environments

- Strong clinical knowledge and practical nursing skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities





- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety

- Flexibility and adaptability in a casual work environment

- Current First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable

- Experience with electronic health records and medical documentation systems
