About the Role

The Everlast Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Joinery Estimator to join our team in Emu Plains.

We specialise in the manufacture and installation of high-quality commercial joinery and are looking for a detail-oriented estimator who can accurately price projects, interpret drawings and specifications, and work closely with our project and production teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong commercial joinery estimating experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and wants to be part of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

- Review architectural drawings, plans, specifications and project documentation

- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and quotations for commercial joinery projects

- Complete detailed material, hardware, labour and installation take-offs

- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor pricing

- Identify project requirements, exclusions, variations and potential cost risks

- Liaise with suppliers, clients, builders, architects and internal teams

- Prepare tender submissions and pricing schedules

- Work with the production and project management teams to ensure accurate handover of awarded projects

- Maintain estimating records and pricing databases

- Assist with value engineering and cost-saving opportunities where appropriate

- Manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:





- Previous experience estimating commercial joinery projects

- Strong understanding of joinery construction, materials, hardware and manufacturing processes

- Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural and joinery drawings

- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy

- Strong knowledge of labour, material and installation costs

- Ability to prepare detailed take-offs and quotations

- Valuable communication and negotiation skills

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency with estimating, Excel and relevant construction/joinery software

- A proactive approach and the ability to meet tight tender deadlines
