About the Role
A welcoming clinic, an established team and local families ready to meet you
Are you an experienced paediatric Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist looking for greater flexibility, professional independence and a supportive clinic to call home?
At Sense OT, we're excited to welcome experienced therapists to our friendly, established multidisciplinary clinic in Chelsea Heights.
With an extensive local waitlist of children and families eagerly seeking Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology services, we offer a wonderful opportunity to join an established team, connect with local families and build a rewarding paediatric caseload.
Our priority is welcoming experienced independent contractors who would love a well-equipped professional base, established referral pathways and the prospect to practise independently while enjoying the connection and collaboration of a supportive team.
We recognise that the NDIS and broader allied health landscape continue to evolve, and that every clinician's professional circumstances are different. For the right person, we're also happy to discuss part-time employment opportunities from 0.6 FTE (three days per week).
We value genuine work-life balance and offer flexible arrangements, including clinic-based,
community-based and hybrid opportunities. Whether you're looking for school-friendly hours, after-school appointments, weekend opportunities or a combination that suits your lifestyle, we'd love to explore what works for you.
Competitive contractor remuneration arrangements are available, reflecting your experience, qualifications and agreed scope of services.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of the Sense OT community, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Provide individualised assessments and therapy for children and young people with a range of developmental, sensory, communication and functional support needs.
- Work alongside children, families and their support networks to develop meaningful, practical and achievable therapy goals.
- Deliver engaging, evidence-informed therapy through play-based, neuro-affirming and strengths-based approaches.
- Support children to build confidence, independence and participation in everyday activities, including self-care, play, learning and social connections.
- Collaborate with parents, educators and other allied health professionals to support meaningful outcomes across home, school and community environments.
- Contribute to small-group therapy programs,
school-based services and community initiatives where these align with your interests.
- Connect with our multidisciplinary team through case discussions, collaborative learning and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain high-quality clinical documentation, assessments and progress reports.
- Engage in reflective practice, mentoring and professional learning opportunities suited to your professional arrangements.
We welcome your individual clinical strengths, interests and ideas, and encourage therapists to bring their own personality and creativity into their practice.
About You
We're looking for more than great clinicians. We're looking for genuinely great people who love what they do
