Are you someone who takes pride in keeping workplaces clean, organised, and safe? Southern Steel QLD is seeking a Cleaner / Yard Hand to join our Wacol team on a full-time basis .

The Role:

- Performing general cleaning duties across warehouse and workshop areas
- Sweeping and maintaining workshop floors, driveways, and loading bays
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste and recycling are disposed of correctly
- Maintaining external areas such as entryways, walkways, and carparks
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or damage to the Supervisor
- Supporting site housekeeping and assisting with general site tidiness
- Following company safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times

To succeed in this role, you will have:





- Current and valid Forklift (LF) Licence
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (industrial or commercial environment preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable and physically capable of manual work
- Awareness of safe work practices and WHS standards
