Case Worker – Level 3 to Level 4 – Strengthening Family Connections (Delegated Authority) Program – Cairns based.

Position Purpose:
The primary responsibility of the Strengthening Family Connections Program (DA) – Client Officer is to actively engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families ,children and young people, supporting self-determination, prioritising cultural connections and improving outcomes for children and families.
The Opportunity:
- This position is full-time, based in Cairns and travel will be required.
- Provide creative, intensive wrap-around outreach family support services to children to engage and support families and the children themselves via creative strengths-based evidence informed intervention strategies.
- Maintain client data records and adhere to confidentiality policies and practices.
About You:
- Have the ability to work in a culturally respectful and competent manner with First Nations young people, their families and communities to ensure that cultural connections are fostered and maintained.
- Have effective time management and be a strong communicator with interpersonal skills and be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

About the Role
We are seeking Enrolled Nurses and experienced Disability Support Workers available for afternoon and evening shifts and active night) for current and upcoming opportunities across the Northern Gold Coast and Logan regions.
This is not high-volume agency work, you will:
- Work with consistent participants
- Support complex and high-intensity needs
- Be supported by experienced clinicians
- Deliver care in participants’ homes and community settings
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred care to participants with complex needs
- Assist with personal care, daily living and community access
- Follow care plans and positive behaviour support strategies
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Complete documentation (progress notes, incident reports)
- Build strong, professional and respectful relationships with clients

What We’re Looking For
