RN - Broken Hill Hospital - Surgical Ward

Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Ward on a nine-week contract, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced acute care nurse to contribute to a busy surgical team in regional NSW. The role offers the chance to work in a dynamic clinical environment while supporting patient care across a range of surgical presentations.

- Nine-week contract position with flexible start date to suit your availability
- Work in a busy surgical ward with exposure to diverse case types and clinical learning
- Based in Broken Hill, NSW, with the chance to be part of a supportive regional healthcare team

Preferred Requirements

- Recent acute nursing experience,



ideally in a hospital ward or surgical setting
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted licence
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to ward protocols
- Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based nursing practice

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Post-graduate qualification or experience in surgical or acute care nursing
