About the Role
Working alongside a driver, you'll assist with:
- Residential and commercial bin collections
- Council hard waste collections
- Pulling and manoeuvring kerbside bins (up to 20kg)
- Lifting and loading hard waste items
- Repeatedly getting in and out of the truck
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions (PPE and uniform provided)
This is a physically active role suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a team.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Essential Requirements
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull and manoeuvre bins and hard waste items
- Physically capable of repetitive truck entry and exit throughout the shift
