Exciting things are happening at Xpress Freight Management and we’re looking for an experienced Yard Tug Driver to join our Brisbane Depot with a 2am start time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Liaison with both local staff, customers and receivers.
- Operate a yard tug to safely move trailers within the depot.
- Position trailers for loading and unloading in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct routine pre-start inspections of yard equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain clear communication with allocators, operational staff, and drivers to coordinate trailer movements.
- Ensure proper organisation of trailers within the yard, optimizing space and workflow.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Support other yard and warehouse activities as needed.
- WHS and COR compliance.
- Ensuring exceptional levels of visibility and service are provided to our customers at all times.
Key qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with loading and unloading, COR, fatigue management etc
- Prior experience operating yard tugs in a transport or logistics workplace.
- Experience in working within a fast paced, high volume transport environment is a must.
- You must hold a current MC Drivers Licence and Forklift Licence.
- All candidates will be subject to a Drug and Alcohol testing.
- All candidates will need to supply a current Police Check.
