About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Machinery Operator to join a leading Australian mobile crushing, screening, and materials processing provider. You will be operating heavy earthmoving plant to feed high-capacity crushers, screens, pugmills, and blenders across quarry, mining, and civil infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate 50-tonne excavators and 40-tonne wheel loaders to feed processing plant, manage stockpiles, and handle raw materials.
- Maintain optimal feed rates into mobile crushers, screening units, and blending equipment.
- Complete pre-start checklists, assist with routine machine maintenance, and perform basic fault troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
- Adhere strictly to site WHS procedures, environmental regulations (e.g., dust and noise controls), and site-specific safety plans.
