Gladstone Hospital in Queensland is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join its Emergency Department on a four-week contract from 21 December 2026 to 17 January 2027. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care setting where your clinical skills and emergency expertise will be valued. The role offers exposure to high-acuity patient care in a busy ED environment.

- Work across triage, resuscitation, and acute patient care

Preferred Requirements

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) Level 2 certification
- Demonstrated experience in emergency nursing, including triage and resuscitation
- Competence in IV cannulation and acute patient assessment
- Knowledge of paediatric advanced life support protocols and neonatal care principles
- Familiarity with ICU ventilator management and acute care documentation

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency or critical care nursing
