Our client's Sydney insurance team acts as coverage and defence counsel across a range of complex lines, including transaction liability and warranty and indemnity insurance. They are looking for a Solicitor or Associate with 2 to 4 years' post-admission experience who wants broader exposure than a single claim type.

About the role
Coverage and defence work across skilled indemnity, transaction liability, financial lines and statutory liability.
- Manage your own matters with senior support
- Act as coverage counsel for insurers on complex policies
- Act as defence counsel in professional indemnity claims
- Draft advices, reports and correspondence
- Work with principals on higher-value matters
What you'll bring
- 2 to 4 years' post-admission experience in the defendant insurance space, ideally in professional indemnity or public liability
- The ability to manage your own file load efficiently
- Good client relationship skills
- A team-oriented, problem-solving approach
- A current Australian practising certificate
- $100K to $130K + super with a performance bonus scheme
