ANANT ENTERPRISE PTY LTD ANANT ENTERPRISE PTY LTD Location: Rockhampton, QLD 4704 Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary Package: $80,000–$100,000 per annum ANANT ENTERPRISE PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of its regional roadhouse in Yaamba, near Rockhampton, Queensland 4704. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day retail operations, driving sales, maintaining stock availability, supervising staff, monitoring business performance and ensuring high standards of customer service. The role requires strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage operations efficiently in a regional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the roadhouse, ensuring efficient service delivery across all business areas. Determine the appropriate product range, stock levels and service standards to meet customer demand and business requirements. Develop and implement purchasing, pricing and marketing strategies to improve sales and profitability.

Coordinate promotional activities, advertising and product displays to increase customer engagement and sales. Monitor sales performance, prepare financial reports and manage budgets to achieve business targets. Manage inventory, supplier relationships, stock ordering and pricing to maintain product availability and control operating costs.

Provide customer service, assist customers with product inquiries and resolve complaints professionally. Recruit, train,



supervise and roster employees to maintain adequate staffing and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of stock movements, sales, expenses and other financial transactions.

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, applicable legislation and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have: At least one to two years of experience in retail supervision or management.

An AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Business, Retail Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience. Experience in managing sales targets, budgets, stock control and financial reporting. Strong leadership, staff supervision and organizational skills.

Knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, pricing and retail marketing. Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving abilities. The ability to manage a busy, seven-day-a-week roadhouse operation and work flexible hours as required.
