We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Imaging Technician to join our client at a busy computer repair company. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in computer hardware who enjoys working with technology, troubleshooting issues, and preparing computers for use.

Location: Murarrie, QLD

Hours: Monday - Friday hours 7:30am - 4:00pm

Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Key Responsibilities

- Image, configure, and deploy desktops and laptops.
- Install operating systems, drivers, software, and required updates.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve basic hardware and software issues.
- Perform hardware testing, upgrades, and component replacements.
- Prepare and configure computers for customer use.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, imaging processes, and completed work.
- Ensure all devices meet quality and performance standards before leaving the workshop.

About You

- Previous experience with computer hardware is essential.




- Experience with computer imaging, operating system installation, and deployment is highly regarded.
- Positive understanding of desktop and laptop components, including RAM, SSDs, hard drives, and motherboards.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and driver installation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organised, and eager to learn.
