You are an experienced Australian systems specialist with at least three years of experience and a strong understanding of workforce management, payroll processes, compliance obligations and the real-world impact of payroll accuracy. You take pride in delivering accurate, timely outcomes, and you are detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture and approaching broader problem-solving conversations.
Your experience may come from system implementation and/or payroll BAU, consulting or a broader HR background with deep payroll exposure. You may have supported system implementations, testing, data validation or go-live activities. What matters most is solid payroll capability, sound professional judgement and a genuine focus on Customer outcomes.
You communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure and are comfortable working independently in a remote environment while contributing to a high-performing team.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret and apply awards, EBAs and legislative requirements with accuracy and confidence
- Perform detailed reconciliations,
compliance reviews and exception analysis to protect payroll integrity
- Analyse and transform large payroll datasets, identifying anomalies, trends and root causes
- Contribute to HRIS system implementations, including design, requirements and system audits
- Partner with clients during go-live activities, optimisation of their systems and issue resolution
- Produce transparent documentation, reporting and control frameworks aligned to best practice
- Advise stakeholders on WFM & Payroll risk, compliance and process improvements
- Collaborate with clients and delivery teams to drive consistent, high-quality outcomes
- Contribute to continuous improvement across payroll operations and system capability
