We're looking for an experienced, results-driven Google Ads Specialist to manage and optimise paid search campaigns across multiple growing Australian healthcare telehealth brands. This is a hands-on contractor role for someone who knows how to get the most out of Google Ads, understands conversion-focused digital marketing and can turn campaign data into measurable business results. We operate in a highly regulated industry, so we're looking for someone who can balance strong campaign performance with Google Ads policies and Australian healthcare advertising requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns across multiple healthcare brands
- Review and improve existing Search and Performance Max campaigns
- Conduct keyword research, including high-intent and long-tail keyword opportunities
- Regularly review search terms, implement negative keywords and reduce wasted advertising spend
- Optimise bidding strategies, budgets, targeting and campaign structures to improve cost per acquisition (CPA)
- Develop and test ad copy, creative assets and landing page recommendations
- Monitor conversion tracking through Google Ads, GA4 and Google Tag Manager




- Identify opportunities to improve lead quality and increase completed appointment bookings
- Provide regular, easy-to-understand performance updates with explicit recommendations
- Stay across Google Ads policy updates, particularly those affecting healthcare advertising

About you

- At least 3-5 years of hands-on Google Ads experience, ideally managing lead generation campaigns
- Demonstrated success improving conversion rates and reducing CPA
- Highly experienced with Google Search, Performance Max, keyword strategy and bidding optimisation
- Understands GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking
- Can confidently audit existing accounts and identify immediate opportunities for improvement
- Takes a proactive approach rather than simply maintaining existing campaigns
- Comfortable working across multiple brands and managing competing priorities
- Communicates clearly and can explain technical recommendations in plain English
- Organised, reliable and comfortable working independently
- Experience managing Google Ads for healthcare, telehealth or other regulated industries is highly regarded
