Join an established demolition business in Bankstown, working closely with a small office team in a hands-on role covering day-to-day accounts and payroll. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accountant or Accounts professional who enjoys variety, works well independently and wants to make an immediate impact.
About the Role
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Processing weekly payroll through MYOB
- Reviewing paper timesheets and entering employee hours accurately
- Processing payroll payments each Thursday
- Maintaining accurate financial records and employee information
- Managing day-to-day accounting and administration
- Supporting the smooth running of the business's financial operations
Payroll is a key part of the role, with an established workforce already set up in the system.
About You
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong accounts payable and receivable knowledge
- Experience processing payroll
- MYOB experience, ideally
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid organisation and time management skills
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities
- Availability to start as soon as possible
