We are seeking dedicated, mature, compassionate and easy-going Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide support to our male located in Southport.

Our client in Southport loves walking at a fast pace (so bring your comfy shoes) and has a serious appreciation for anyone who can whip up AMAZING food. If you're patient, a great communicator, and a safe, reliable driver with a fun-loving attitude, we want to hear from you

In this role you will Support him with community access, domestic assistance around the home and meal preparation.

Shifts Available:

Wednesday's 9:00am to 3:00pm

Friday's 9:00am to 3:00pm

We are looking for someone with availability across varies days, and someone who is comfortable to support when urgent shifts arise.

What You’ll Need:

A valid driver’s license.

A friendly and respectful attitude.

Ability to follow instructions and support independent living.

We also support our staff through our EAP service which offers 4 x free counselling sessions whererequired, as well as discounted physiotherapy sessions at select physio practices while also having theassurance of consistency ofClientsyou support. You have a comprehensive suite ofonline learning to support you and face to face learnings.

Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner

Be reliable and versatile to fill shifts when required

To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

To be Successful you must…

Resonate with the role description above

Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)

Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card

Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain- preferred)

Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia

Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives

Manual handling experience required
