Field Service & Project Support Technician

You'll be the face of Monika on client sites across Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate. You'll install, commission and service our monitoring systems in hospitals, aged care homes, commercial kitchens and hospitality venues, and train the people who use them every day. Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, you'll also support project delivery, from site readiness meetings through to final handover.

Key responsibilities

- Install and commission Monika sensors, hubs and systems to our standards and within agreed timeframes
- Report site readiness, installation progress and any outstanding or follow-up items promptly
- Deliver effective end-user training so clients get full value from the system
- Complete breakdown, add-on, upgrade and annual service work to a high standard
- Travel regularly to client sites across metropolitan, regional and interstate locations, including overnight stays
- Keep Salesforce up to date throughout each day: schedules, job records, assets and parts used
- Identify product defects and software bugs and report them clearly to the Technical Operations Manager
- Mark up schematics of power and data requirements for client sites
- Attend, or coordinate attendance at, pre-installation site meetings to confirm site readiness




- Represent Monika professionally and take a positive approach to resolving problems

About you

- Positive working knowledge of electrical systems and electronics
- Hands-on experience installing and mounting sensors, hubs or similar equipment
- Willing and able to travel regularly, including interstate and overnight
- Unrestricted driver's licence
- Clean National Police Check
- Electrical licence (A-grade or Restricted Electrical Worker's licence), highly regarded but not essential
- Experience in food service, healthcare or aged care environments
- Project coordination or project support experience
- Experience with Salesforce, Slack and Google Workspace
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
