About the role

We are looking for an Estimator/Senior Estimator to join our team based in Macquarie Park.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator, or a Project Engineer or Site Engineer looking to move into a different career path and develop their skills in estimating, tenders and commercial project development.

You will work closely with our operations, engineering and business development teams to develop project solutions, prepare tenders and help secure new work for Keller.

While previous estimating experience is highly desirable, we are also open to candidates with strong project or site experience who have a good understanding of construction and are looking to transition into estimating.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare estimates, budgets and tender submissions for geotechnical projects
- Review of drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Develop construction methodologies and project solutions
- Assess project costs, risks and constructability
- Work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers and Operations
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare technical scopes and tender documentation
- Support the business in identifying and securing current project opportunities
- Contribute to commercial and strategic decision-making throughout the tender process
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About you

We are looking for someone who is technically capable,



commercially minded and keen to develop their career.

You could be an experienced Estimator / Senior Estimator, or a Project Engineer / Site Engineer ready to step away from site-based delivery and move into a commercial role.

You will ideally have:

- A degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Experience working within the construction, engineering or geotechnical industry
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A commercial mindset with strong attention to detail
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Previous estimating, tendering or pricing experience is advantageous but not essential
