VNR Group Building Consultants – Brisbane QLD

As a Building Consultant with VNR Group, you will undertake a variety of building consultancy assignments, including residential and commercial building inspections, building damage assessments and reporting, preparation of clear, concise and professional technical reports, assessment of building defects, damage and construction issues, preparation of detailed Scope of Works for building repairs and reinstatement, liaising with relevant stakeholders where required, and servicing clients throughout Southeast Queensland. The role offers occasional travel to regional areas, including overnight stays when required, and a varied workload across different property types, damage scenarios and inspection requirements.

Key responsibilities

Undertake residential and commercial building inspections

Conduct building damage assessments and reporting

Prepare clear, concise and professional technical reports

Assess building defects, damage and construction issues

Prepare detailed Scope of Works for building repairs and reinstatement

Liaise with relevant stakeholders where required

Service clients throughout Southeast Queensland

Travel to regional areas, including occasional overnight stays

About you

Experienced in building consulting, building inspections and/or damage assessments

Strongly knowledgeable in residential and/or commercial construction

Able to independently conduct site inspections and assess building conditions





Experienced in producing accurate, well-written technical reports

Skilled, reliable and well presented

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Methodical and thorough in their approach

Comfortable working autonomously and managing their own workload

Confident communicating with clients, insurers, builders and other stakeholders

Current QLD and/or NSW Builder's Licence, or a relevant building qualification

Current driver's licence

Ability to travel throughout Southeast Queensland

Appropriate insurances for subcontractor work
