Yeppoon Beach House is seeking an experienced housekeeper to join our vibrant team in beautiful Yeppoon, Queensland. This part time role offers a unique blend of hands-on housekeeping, reception duties, and customer service. You’ll play a key role in both the day-to-day operations and guest services—ensuring every visitor enjoys a smooth, welcoming, and memorable stay from check-in to check-out.

What you'll be doing;

Maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation across all guest rooms and public areas, creating a fresh, comfortable, and inviting environment

Delivering a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all guests, ensuring a positive first impression from the moment they arrive

Managing the reception area with efficiency and care, handling check-ins, check-outs, guest inquiries, and payment processing with accuracy and a customer-first attitude

Performing a range of detailed housekeeping duties, including making beds, replenishing amenities, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and thorough cleaning of bathrooms and shared spaces

Providing personalised recommendations and local knowledge to help guests make the most of their stay, from attractions to dining and activities

Upholding all health, safety, and security protocols,



ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for guests and staff alike

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role, ideally within the hospitality industry

Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour

Experience with computer and booking systems is not essential; however, a willingness to learn and engage with the digital aspects of our operations is expected.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation

Effective time management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

A keen interest in the local area and a desire to share your knowledge with guests
