Female disability support workers - Bayside Disability Support Workers - Bayside Make a meaningful difference with Nextt Nextt is seeking compassionate, reliable and dedicated Disability Support Workers to provide casual backfill support to clients across the Bayside area. You’ll be supporting people living with psychosocial disabilities , helping them maintain their independence, build confidence and enjoy a better quality of life through person-centred support. About the Role You'll provide person-centred support tailored to each client's individual needs, including: Assisting with daily living tasks and community access Medication assistance Manual handling and mobility support Promoting independence, wellbeing and daily routines Building positive, trusting relationships with clients Providing safe, respectful and consistent support Supporting clients to engage in meaningful activities and achieve their goals Key: You must be comfortable around animals, as clients may have pets in their homes.



Available Shifts Casual backfill shifts are available across the following times: Day shifts: 9:00am-2:00pm Evening shifts: 5:00pm-10:00pm Flexibility and availability to cover shifts as required will be highly regarded. What You'll Need To be considered for this role, you must have: Current NDIS Worker Screening Check Current Working with Children Check Current Australian Driver's Licence Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You Current First Aid and CPR certificates Experience with manual handling and medication assistance Comfort working in environments where animals may be present Experience supporting people with psychosocial disabilities is highly regarded.
