$110,000 to $120,000 + super + uncapped commission

In Context is a new healthcare company founded by clinicians with backgrounds in workplace rehabilitation.

We’re looking for someone who knows the workplace health sector well and is ready to do something different with that experience.

You might currently be working in workplace rehabilitation, injury management, workers compensation, occupational rehabilitation, workplace health or a related role.

You’ve spent years working with employers, insurers, brokers, case managers, HR and WHS teams. You understand how these organisations work, you’ve built good relationships along the way, and people in the industry know and trust you.

But you might be ready to step away from caseloads, reports, assessments, billable hours or day to day service delivery.

This role is an opportunity to use what you already know, and the relationships you’ve built, in a different way.

The role

You’ll lead business development for Work In Context, our workplace health division.

We’re not looking for someone to walk around with a sales script.

We want someone who can sit down with an employer, insurer, broker or industry contact, understand what’s happening in their organisation and have a credible conversation about where In Context could help.

A lot of this role is relationship driven.

You’ll reconnect with people you already know, build recent relationships across the sector, attend meetings and industry events, identify opportunities, introduce In Context to organisations that are a good fit and stay close to those conversations as they develop.

You’ll work directly with the founder and our clinicians when an opportunity needs more detailed clinical or service input.

Our workplace services include early intervention and injury management, return to work support, workplace mental health, onsite physiotherapy, workplace training and tailored workplace health programs.





Who we’re looking for

Workplace sector experience matters more to us than traditional sales experience.

You may be an:

You don’t need to have “Business Development Manager” on your CV.

You do need to understand the sector, communicate well and have the sort of professional reputation that makes people happy to take your call.

You’ll probably enjoy the people, relationship and strategic side of your current role more than the clinical or operational side.

You may already find yourself connecting people, maintaining employer relationships, representing your organisation externally or noticing opportunities that could turn into something bigger.

That’s the part of your experience we want.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll build relationships with employers and industry partners, introduce In Context to your network, develop new relationships, attend meetings and events, identify opportunities and help turn those relationships into ongoing work.

There is still a commercial outcome to the role. We are building a business and you’ll be responsible for helping bring new employer and partner relationships into In Context.

But we believe the best business in this sector comes from credibility, trust and understanding the problem, not pushing a service onto someone who doesn’t need it.

Package

$110,000 to $120,000 + super + uncapped commission

Full time with a flexible hybrid setup. You’ll also be out meeting employers, partners and industry contacts where it makes sense.

No traditional sales background required.

We’re much more interested in who you know, how you work with people and whether they trust you.
