FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) Hydraulic Tube and Pipe Fitter required to complete a hydraulic system installation in Far North Queensland.

Key responsibilities

Measuring, bending, flaring, and installing high-pressure hydraulic tubes and pipes to OEM specifications

Pressure testing of tubes, pipework, valves, and hoses to safely contain operating loads without leaks or deformation

Remove built-in contamination (metal chips, scale, assembly debris) to meet target ISO 4406 of the hydraulic system

Completing isolation procedures, pre-start checks, and adherence to site safety and environmental standards

About you

Relevant qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, HD (Heavy Duty) Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, or specialized Hydraulic Technician

Demonstrated experience with hydraulic tube and pipe fitting at site installations, including pressure testing, flushing, and system commissioning

Working at heights, Confined space tickets, EWP

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug and alcohol (D&A;) screenings

Reliable, hardworking, takes pride in quality of workmanship, and the ability to work independently or in a site team
