We’re looking for a Sales Co-ordinator to join a privately owned distribution business in Melbourne’s inner west. This full-time, entry-level position is central to keeping our sales, operations and marketing teams running smoothly, and it’s a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the business from the ground up.
Key responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support to the sales and marketing teams
Process sales orders quickly and accurately
Deliver excellent customer service, responding to enquiries promptly
Work with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered smoothly
Maintain accurate sales records and prepare reports as required
Assist with inventory management and track product availability
Support management with general office duties
About you
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
Confident using business software such as CRM, inventory management systems and Microsoft 365
Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally in a wholesale environment
Ability to prioritise and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
A proactive, positive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
A true all-rounder who helps keep the office organised
A quick learner, keen to pick up skills across departments including marketing and procurement
