Content Creator & Videographer – Morisset – Full Time
About JC Entertainment & Events
JC Entertainment & Events (JCEE) delivers event production and event management for corporate conferences, award nights, government and community events, festivals and concerts. We operate across Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle and Port Macquarie.
We’re a team of production technicians, event managers and operators who build big things under tight deadlines. Now we want to show people what that actually looks like.
The role
We’re looking for a Content Creator & Videographer to tell the JCEE story. This is not a “film the event and leave” job. You’ll document the people, decisions, challenges and work behind every show, from the warehouse to bump-in to the final cue.
You’ll own content production end to end: planning, filming, editing and delivering finished work ready for publishing. We handle posting and scheduling, so your focus stays on making great content.
What you’ll create
- A weekly documentary series. A 10–15 minute “Day in the Life” episode following our team, events and operations.
- Event case studies. Landscape and vertical videos showcasing the scale and technical detail of our production work.
- Behind‑the-scenes reels. Short‑form vertical content capturing crew, gear, setups and finished results.
- Leadership and personal brand footage.
An ongoing library of footage featuring our directors, James and Emma, at work with clients, crew and suppliers.
What you’ll bring
- Professional videography and editing experience, with a portfolio to show for it.
- Robust documentary and short‑form storytelling skills.
- Confidence operating cameras, audio and lighting for content creation.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or equivalent.
- The ability to plan and manage multiple projects independently without needing constant direction.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel and work around event schedules, including some evenings and weekends.
- Experience filming live events, concerts, festivals or conferences.
- Experience producing YouTube documentary or vlog‑style content.
- Knowledge of the event production or audio‑visual industry.
- Interviewing, photography or motion graphics skills.
- A creative role with real ownership. You’ll shape how a growing production company presents itself.
- Access to a wide range of events and a constant supply of content opportunities.
- A base salary of $80,000 plus super, with monthly incentives linked to video performance.
- A business that’s investing heavily in content, with the backing to do it properly.
