Are you an experienced senior nurse ready to take the next step in your clinical leadership career? Join North Shore Private Hospital as our Clinical Coordinator - General Surgery, working at the heart of our Operating Theatre. This is an exciting chance to combine your general surgery expertise with hands‑on clinical leadership, supporting our Nurse Unit Managers and clinical teams to deliver safe, high‑quality perioperative care and an exceptional patient experience.

In this permanent, full‑time role, you’ll help drive best practice, support and develop clinical teams, and contribute to the effective coordination of our General Surgery portfolio in a dynamic operating theatre environment.

The General Surgery portfolio consists of:

- Endocrinology
- Breast surgery
- Bariatric surgery

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong General Surgery clinical skillset and recent management experience within a hospital setting.

You will have exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent client care and customer service.

You will also bring:

- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum five (5) years’ post graduate nursing experience
- Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager
- Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff including recruitment,



rostering and performance management.
- Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and capital resources.

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $70.89+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager Level 1)
