Forbo Movement Systems, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of high‑quality light‑duty conveyor & processing belts, modular belts, flat power transmission belts, and synthetic timing belts, is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our dynamic team.

Our products support established and rapidly growing sectors including Food Production, Logistics, Raw Materials, and Industrial Production - with our local fabrication and service capabilities delivering these products to the market.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on, customer-facing position responsible for developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing accounts across Brisbane & Southeast Queensland.

You will draw on your communication skills and technical aptitude to:

- Represent Forbo professionally and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction

- Provide tailored product recommendations and technical support

- Troubleshoot customer issues and deliver practical solutions

- Work closely with our customer service, fabrication and site service teams to ensure smooth product & services delivery

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Proven sales & business development experience with excellent relationship‑building skills

- A proactive, self‑motivated, and results-based work style

- Technical curiosity, learning capability and problem‑solving ability

Experience in the conveyor or industrial products industry is preferred, but it is not essential.

We understand that the right salesperson may not come to us with conveyor belting experience. Forbo will provide a structured internal product and application learning program, supported by a thorough onboarding and on-the-job development plan, to progressively build the technical knowledge, practical understanding and confidence required to succeed in the role.

Ultimately, you thrive on developing new business, building robust, long-term customer partnerships, and have a genuine drive to achieve results and succeed.
