Coolum Beach Christian College (CBCC) is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Secondary Music Teacher to join our team for a part time (.7 FTE)

Reporting to the Head of Secondary, this role will:

Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons to Secondary students.

Plan, prepare, and assess learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.

Support students in developing their musical skills, creativity, and appreciation of music.

Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.

Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing development of the Music program.

Participate in College activities and events as required.

About You

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- A passion for music education and student learning.

- Experience teaching Music within a Secondary setting.

- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.

- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

- A commitment to skilled growth and collaboration.

- Demonstrate a passion for teaching and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for students

- Successful applicants starting in 2027 must be available to commence from 13th January 2027 for Induction and Professional Learning.

Essential Requirements

- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.

- Eligible to work in Australia

- Ability to uphold and support the Christian values and mission of Coolum Beach Christian College.
