Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd, located in Mackay, Queensland, have two facilities, Kerrisdale Gardens and Valuable Shepherd Lodge and we are seeking Assistants in Nursing to join our clinical team on a casual basis. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, providing accurate documentation, and maintaining a caring and empathetic attitude towards residents.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Assistants in Nursing (AIN’s) to join our team. As an AIN, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to residents, assisting with daily living activities, and contributing to the overall comfort and well-being of residents under the guidance of our registered nurses. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and report on resident health status, including vital signs and general well-being
- Support registered nurses in providing high-quality care
- Maintain resident records and documentation in accordance with healthcare standards
- Assist in resident mobility and positioning
- Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
- Follow infection control and safety procedures to ensure a protected environment for residents and staff
