About the Role:

T.S Bassi Pty Ltd T/A Roadside Transport, provides freight, courier and transport services across Australia. Due to business expansion, the company is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, driver coordination, transport schedules and safety compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Receive and process transport orders and bookings, and plan, organize and coordinate transportation schedules to ensure the timely movement of vehicles and freight.
2. Liaise with clients to understand their transportation requirements, provide information about available services, coordinate service arrangements and address customer enquiries or complaints.
3. Coordinate the collection and delivery of vehicles and freight, ensuring transport arrangements are organized efficiently and deliveries are completed within agreed timeframes.
4. Organize the procurement, servicing and maintenance of fleet vehicles, transport equipment and fuel to ensure vehicles remain operational, safe and suitable for business requirements.
5. Ensure goods are stored, handled and transported under appropriate conditions to maintain their quality and prevent damage during transit.
6.



Coordinate vehicle arrivals and departures, as well as loading and unloading activities, to support the smooth and efficient movement of freight and transport operations.
7. Maintain accurate fleet and transport records, monitor operational activities, and prepare regular reports and statements relating to fleet performance and transportation operations.
8. Ensure fleet and transport activities comply with applicable workplace health and safety requirements, transport regulations and relevant operational procedures.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Advanced Diploma or relevant Qualification.
2. At least 1 – year of experience as a Fleet Manager
3. Knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance scheduling and fuel management.
4. Knowledge of transport safety requirements and workplace health and safety regulations.
5. Robust organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.
6. Ability to monitor fleet performance, control operating costs and improve operational efficiency.
7. Ability to manage multiple transport bookings and ensure timely, reliable freight services
