About the Role

We are seeking a energetic and results-driven Trade Account Manager to join our sales team in Brisbane. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane QLD 4000, offering an excellent opportunity to build and manage relationships with key trade customers whilst driving revenue growth. As Trade Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and providing consultative support to help our trade customers succeed. This role is crucial to our continued expansion in the landscape supplies market and offers the chance to make a tangible impact on our business performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain solid relationships with existing trade accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention

- Identify and pursue new trade account opportunities within the Brisbane region and surrounding areas

- Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations to help customers select the right landscaping materials for their projects

- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to customer requirements

- Collaborate with our warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction

- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities using our CRM system

- Attend industry events and trade shows to build relationships and generate new business leads

- Report on sales performance, market insights, and competitor activities to management





What We're Looking For

- 2-5 years' experience in sales, preferably within the construction, landscaping, building supplies, or related trade industries

- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing trade accounts

- Strong understanding of landscaping products, materials, and industry practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer bases

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities whilst meeting sales targets

- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

- A consultative sales approach with a focus on understanding and solving customer problems

- Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transport

- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

- Preferred: Knowledge of landscape design, construction methods, or trade industry networks
