Join FBT Transwest as an MC Driver operating B-double combinations, based at our Tottenham depot on full-time day shift. You'll work alongside our operations team to deliver safe, reliable transport services in a workplace that values teamwork and respect. Key responsibilities
- Safely operate B-double combinations in accordance with road laws, company procedures and site requirements.
- Complete pre-start inspections and promptly report vehicle faults or maintenance requirements.
- Check load restraint and complete transport documentation accurately.
- Follow fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team and customers.
- Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and tidy condition.
About you
- A current Multi Combination (MC) driver licence and experience operating B-double combinations.
- A strong commitment to safe driving and workplace safety.
- Sound understanding of fatigue management, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
- Valuable communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Reliability, punctuality and pride in your work.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A current Dangerous Goods (DG)
driver licence and Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) will be highly regarded.
