About the role

Play Nation is one of Sydney's fast growing padel and pickleball destination, and we're looking for an ambitious Club Manager to lead our next stage of growth. This is not a traditional operations role. We're looking for someone who thrives on building communities, creating experiences, driving participation, and growing a business. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, implement ideas, and be rewarded for the results you deliver.

Key responsibilities

- Growing memberships, court utilisation, and revenue

- Building an engaged and loyal player community

- Creating and promoting events, tournaments, leagues, and social activities

- Managing Play Nation's marketing, sales, social media, and local partnerships

- Delivering an exceptional customer experience on and off the court

- Leading day-to-day club operations and ensuring high standards across the venue

About you





- A self-starter who doesn't need constant direction

- Proven experience in growing a business, community, membership base, or customer engagement

- Robust marketing, sales and social media skills

- Commercially minded with a focus on results

- Excellent communicator who loves connecting with people

- Passionate about sport, particularly racquet sports, fitness, or community-based businesses
