This is an active, hands-on role involving delivery, setup and collection of event furniture across the Adelaide area, working on everything from weddings and private functions to corporate events and major festivals.
Key responsibilities
- Driving MR trucks to and from event sites
- Picking and preparing furniture orders
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and carefully
- Setting up and packing down furniture at events
- Checking deliveries and collections against order paperwork
- Keeping furniture, vehicles and warehouse areas clean and organised
- Working with the crew to get each job completed safely and on time
About you
- A current MR truck licence or higher
- A willingness and ability to carry out regular lifting and physical work safely
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
- Care when handling furniture and equipment
- A friendly, skilled approach with customers and event teams
- The ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Flexibility to work varied hours to suit event schedules
- A forklift licence is preferred but not essential
- Experience in furniture delivery, removals, warehousing or events would be an advantage
