Oaks Cairns Hotel are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook – Breakfast shifts to join our kitchen team on a part time basis.
This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the breakfast service, preparing and delivering high-quality dishes, and helping provide an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and deliver a high-quality breakfast buffet service.
- Handle opening preparation and station setup.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.
- Maintain strong communication between Front and Back of House.
- Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Breakfast service: 5:30am – 11:30am
- 3 to 5 shifts per week, including weekends as required
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $27.08 per hour
Saturday: $33.85 per hour
Sunday: $40.62 per hour
